SouperStar Soups & Stews ("SouperStar," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices — including specific information about our text message (SMS) program.
When you subscribe to SouperStar soup delivery, we collect your name, email address, delivery address, phone number (if provided), and the soups and quantities you choose. Payment information is collected and processed securely by Square; we do not store your full card number on our own systems.
If you join our email list through a QR code or sign-up page (for example at a farmers market, a pop-up, or from a flyer), we collect your email address, an optional first name, and which sign-up link you used.
We use this information to process your orders and subscription, deliver your soup, communicate with you about your account and deliveries, and — only if you opt in — send you text message notifications.
If you provide your phone number and choose "text" or "both" as your notification preference, we will send you text messages related to your subscription, such as delivery confirmations and occasional seasonal delivery reminders.
If you opt in separately, we may send you general marketing updates by email, text, or both, about new soups, pop-up events, and other SouperStar news. This is a distinct, optional choice from the transactional text messages described above.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
You can join our email list without subscribing to soup delivery, for example by scanning a QR code at a farmers market, a pop-up, or on a flyer. We ask for your email address and, optionally, your first name. We also record which sign-up link you used, so we know which events and flyers are working, and we keep a record of the wording you agreed to.
Joining asks us to email you information about our soup delivery program. If you also check the optional box, we may send you about one email a week with info about new soup launches, promotions and events. You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or by emailing info@souperstarsoups.com.
We work with a small number of trusted service providers to operate SouperStar's subscription service: Square (payment processing and catalog), Resend (email delivery), and Twilio (text message delivery). Each of these providers only receives the information necessary to perform their specific service for us.
You can view, update, pause, or cancel your subscription at any time using the management link sent to you by email — no account or password required. You can change your notification preferences (email, text, or both) the same way.
